Swamp Run Retrievers offers a variety of retriever training programs for all skill levels. We offer puppy training on a limited basis as well as gun dog and Hunt Test training for retrievers age 6 months and older.
On occasion, Swamp Run Retrievers has Started Dogs for sale. These dogs may range in ability from Hunting Companion to Master Hunter.

2009 Master National
The 2009 Master National is over and we managed to pass eight dogs in Texas. The weather was a major factor and the rain constantly was changing the test. Swamp Runs Go Get'em Gator received his third National Plate at the age of five to put him in the Master National Hall of Fame. Congrats to all that passed. [ More ]
2009 Summer Trip
We have made it back from our Summer trip. The weather in MN this summer was the best I can remember. Only one day in the mid 90's. This year I had a truck full of talented dogs. Most of the test I ran on the Summer trip I found very difficult. The test were technical and to much like training. Pass ratios were low, but every weekend we ended up with the majority of the passes. In total we brought back 40 master and 6 senior ribbons in five hunt test. I ran my dog China in a Qualifying and got 4th. Thanks to all of my clients for believeing in me. Next test I plan to run is Coastal Empire HRC October 3 &4. Hope to see you there.
